TF2 external idlers get stuff removed

And being punished for cheating is common sense.  VAC randomly bans hackers, so they don't know valve knows/cares.  I'm trying to tell you that what you did was stupid.

They don't like it but aren't going to do anything about it.

Edit: Random drop system is same percentage regardless of idling/playing. Idlers have same chance at weapons as players.

I think people are overreacting when they say its a lose lose. You can filter out tags like "idle" and look for maps beginning with "cp" and "ctf" and "pl" etc.

The only people who lose are those who want to idle, because it is now much harder to do so.

Valve is creating a better TF2, and they're keeping cheaters out. Also no replies to your post isn't exactly overwhelming positive response. I don't believe anyone has acknowledged a word you've said that isn't me and I don't exactly subscribe to your school of thought.

You don't need a warning. Cheating is cheating, even if the rule is unwritten.

Anyone can join an idling server, Marcem.
Anyone can get several items in any amount of time while playing legit too.  Chance doesn't have to be and isn't fair.

As I said before,
Valve mentioned they didn't praise it but weren't going to do anything about it.Walker's ambiguous e-mail leads us to believe it is not considered cheating.
Edit: I agree. We're all pissed off, raging won't help.
