Or just being able to turn it on and off for your server.

You could have the host or admin allow who gets to chat and who doesn't.

EDIT: More specifically, another button like the "BUILD" and "FULL" trust buttons, only one says "VOICE".

Also, I don't want to hear you, you're 10
I doubt your voice is any deeper then his.
.. anyway
I'd enjoy voice chat on blockland because it would allow me to scare kiddies with my manvoice

If someone used their mic, would it be possible to display the name(s) of the player(s) talking, like on the bottom right corner of the screen or something?

ur cool.

I has a 17 yr old voice but i r teh 13

ONTOPIC: I would like the idea, but i would ban anyone from my server with a 8 yr old voice :D

Mic trust.

Bricks 'onPersonSpeak'

OH MAN. I SENSE WIN.

At the very least, 4 channels: All, Server, Team, and Buddies.
All: If you feel like talking to everyone. This would be a general chat.
Server: Talk to the people on your server.
Team: Good for TDMs and such
Buddies: With RTB's new Buddy system, this would work perfectly.

And possibly a 5th channel, Direct chat, which would allow you to "Call" an ID for a 1-on-1 chat. Kinda like a phone.

Also, an ability to mute players by typing in their ID's.

why cant people just group voice chat on steam and play blockland??

I would enjoy having Voice Chat. Except have an option where you can mute/unmute people who you do not want to listen to.

The quality on steam is really stuff.
