Yes, but there would need to be a mute option for the Host.

Resources used by steam > resources used by teamspeak + ventrillo
But do they have an overlay, so it's easier to chat, and sometimes even lets you minimize games?

An overlay... to voice chat.. ?

You don't need an overlay or the ability to minimize games if you're voice chatting... it's audio dude.

Kicking.  Also, if Steam affects your system, it's time to upgrade.

I am so confused who is on which side 0_o

You don't have to kick if you don't give out your details to random people.

Still, back to my point, teamspeak/ventrillo quality vastly supercedes that of steam voice chat. That cannot be argued. I rather have amazing quality then the stuff they're serving - but I'm an audio guy.

I'm too young to understand sound?  You're about 1-2 years older than me!  Stop being stupid.

I've got a perfectly valid point that the quality is bad compared to that of other programs, and you're ignoring it. So I've put it down to you being childish.

Do you need really good quality for someone talking?  Do you cry every time you use a phone?

When given the choice between them, of course I'm going to choose amazing quality over stuff. You simply don't make sense anymore.

Stop trying to argue and do something productive with your time.

I bet your mic just recording takes more resources than steam, seriously.  It's not THAT bad at 80,000 k right now.  I would compare to ventrillo, but I don't have it installed at this point.

The recording program that came with the microphone only uses 10k.
