It is roughly City of Heroes 2 as Packer said in his thread. It is made by the same developers but this time NCsoft is not doing anything with it.

It costs $50 to buy it on steam/instores. It costs $17 per month to play. But it is worth it. You can customize your characters really well.

17 a month? no thank you

i played but of course, I'm never playing again now.

17 a month? no thank you

oh shutup. many great games have subscriptions.
only casual gamers are cheap asses. not that its bad to be a casual gamer, but your lack a bulk of the entertainment possible in the gaming world.

Who said i dont play games with subscriptions? My post meant that i dont want to play THIS game for 17 a month. I would gladly play darkfall, 15$ a month fee.

Whats bad about this game, the fact you can be almost any type of superhero you want? Even people without super powers, but good at martial arts/swords/archery/guns.

I have a life sub, I'll be around for life :3

sorry eryehk, i dont hate this game, its just not my kind of game. i feel i should leave before i get beat to hell

My 2 guys so far, I'll probably do some heavy modifying as I unlock new items.

I have a character, but I have no idea what it's called.

I have a beta key, but it doesn't work :(

Plus the $50 you need to buy it.

But you fail to realize that some people also don't have enough money.

I don't like paying monthly for a game, either. Me and Trader were discussing MMO's, and the conclusion was that server costs could easily be paid for if there was a constant release of purchasable DLC, rather than monthly fees.
If I BUY a game, I don't want to have to pay more just to use it.

Champions Online was released on the 1st.

Yeah thats why I bought a life sub. Though at the same time there are more and more MMO's and people are starting to spread out into different ones so they try to leach as much as possible.

fail? no i say forget those people
