Any idea when RTB V4 will be out?
Yeah like what % done are you do you think?

I hope you forward the mods from V3 and put them on the V4 before you release it. It would be a pain to have to re-upload your mods again on the site and have them tested again!

I believe he stated that you wouldn't have to re-upload them, however things could've changed from when I last heard that.

Nothing's changing about the add-on system in v4, so add-ons will still be there. When we get the new site running, old add-ons will automatically  be moved for you along with your accounts so no re-submitting or re-registering.

=D

I'm nearly done re-designing the new new website and I've already got the registration/login parts working. It should be very simple to migrate everyone's account details out of phpBB and into this new database.

As I mentioned before, I'm going to initially get the site working purely as a "brochure site" for RTB where people can read about wtf it is and wtf it does, as well as download it. The site will also have the feature you need to use to activate your RTB Connect account. People who have already registered on RTB will need to manually activate it but those who are registering for the first time will have it automatically activated for them.

And the forums and the wiki will be up right?

RTB will need to manually activate it
What is the difference between RTB and RTB Connect?

What is the difference between RTB and RTB Connect?
RTB Connect is the communication part of RTB.

And the forums and the wiki will be up right?

No - for now the forums will stay on phpBB and there are no plans to do anything with the wiki ever. It doesn't need to move.

What is the difference between RTB and RTB Connect?

RTB Connect is the IM system.

Not sure why Kalphiter even questioned it. It's not like he can use it.

Is the sync feature working properly? I have several weapons, including many of the ones I've made myself, that RtB isn't recognising.

If the zip has the same name, and you ARE clicking on sync, then this should be syncing it.

I haven't tampered with Weapon_Deflector since uploading it to RtB, and it does not appear on my RtB mods list. I click the sync button, and it doesn't recognise it as non-synced.

If it's not in a zip file it'll appear in a separate category of Your Mods.
