And the same for negative ratings right? Would they appear as 1/5?

What if people were to say "This add-on breaks in 3/5 occasions, Jeffy Bob."?

Prompt them and ask them if they're rating it.

It'd rate it 3/5 - the vast majority of situations will be legitimate ratings so the tiny minority won't really matter.

That'd require client code modifications and the next version of RTB isn't going to be done any time soon. Plus since this is an "extra" feature of commenting it shouldn't interrupt the user's usual experience.

Can you estimate when RTB v4 will be out?

Very nice Ephialtes told me about this last month.  :cookieMonster: :cookie:

There should be a thing that would stop people from "Mod bombing." This cigarette went around and rated about 20 add-ons a 1/5, and I am sure Kalphiter remembers this.

Um, no I don't remember anything.

Eh, you could just make it so they have a max of 3 ratings are day or something.

There will always be people going around rating everything as a 1/5 - I just did a quick query and predictably it was Lord Tony who had 83 ratings of 1/5. I've removed his ratings and banned him from rating and commenting.

Poor Tony. He doesn't try to be evil, he just is.

Ephialtes your speaking about add-ons rating what about server rating?
They should have Server rating and btw with rtb 4 you should have a descrpition of the server because with name of server only you cant understand full meaning of server like people do mini Names Like De'y'mar Playing TDM?
Wow there should be a description of the server
Oh and blockland wiki went up and down...it went down for 1 min then back up

Oh I remember that. All my add-ons was the victims, and due that most of them have less than 20 rate, and the one in the toplist have at least 50, they didn't got affected, but mine did.

All ratings systems have users that just vote down based on bias - you just have to make sure other people like it enough to vote it up.
