I'm going to try and figure out what caused such high traffic last night and might possibly move the API onto a different webserver to prevent it being able to take down the main file hosting server. This may also involve API profiling which is a pain in the ass.

Can you paste the result of "RTBCD_getModList();" into a reply? The issue causing this before was resolved (and I've just verified that again now) so this might be a new issue.

It turns out it was my fault. I had a second copy of the Achievements mod under a different name to try and compare the new file downloaded to see if it was getting loaded wrong or something, but after you resolved the first issue that copy just started causing it again. Deleting the file seems to have fixed the issue. (can't tell since the servers I join have other mods so it may just be loading Achievements too quick to see)

The result of that command before I deleted it is below. It has two copies of the mod's ID, "735 8" and "735 9"

There's also a "fileDelete" console error after it downloads some mods (both before and after fixing the issue above), I'll try to get the exact text.

"735 9" means it'll work fine - that's the latest content version on the server. As for the fileDelete error, I've seen that one - I might put out an RTB 3.6 to fix it (and another error where the connection wont time out if a single content file can't be downloaded).

I already pay enough to host all the services we provide already. I don't think I'd be up for paying for an Etherpad server too.

I've tuned the server's memory and CPU appropriately for our services, and I'll be adding a chat server to that soon too. I don't want EtherPad eating up resources that would otherwise be used providing better response/processing speeds for the API and such.

Why can't you just use one of the services linked to on the etherpad page? Piratepad looks like it works fine. Pastebin or google docs would also work, depending on what you're doing.
