Clerics and rouges are always in demand.

Useful variations are:

Cleric/Fighter: Better for solo play than Pure clerics because they are better in combat but less good at party healing because they have less SP and fewer spells.

Rouge/ranger: better at combat than rouges (making them more useful to the party in combat) but also not as good at disarming traps and picking locks (making them less useful to the party out side of combat).

I have started to focus on one element type of damage, fire. Because my enhancements and equipment all enhances that one damage type I have been seeing some staggering damage numbers fly out of the heads of my charred and lifeless enemies (scorching ray for 80 damage x2 without even using empowering).

STarts at level three, and you get a new one every two levels from there... So i've heard.
