We are working on a new city actually and it is much more spacious and with islands.

I haven't been enjoying the past 2 incarnations of MetroRP. Specifically the island setting. I preferred having mountains that imposed clear boundaries and divided up the city, making it look smaller while still supplying lots of building space.

I find layout more important than lot space.
Old old metro had less lot space than this one, but was bigger.

I liked how the old one made it look like there was different cities, not just a big single one. Because they had gaps between them.

I do have a save of Diggys server from back in June 2009, if people really want to see the old city again.

Also, I like this new city. It does have a good layout and a good amount of building space.

I agree. I took a look at the old save and even though it was an awesome design, it lacks lots of building space. I always remembered it being almost impossible to find an empty lot.

He has some limitations for us though: 15 players and probably no phys vehicles so we don't rape the crap out of his server's cpu.
