Okay, so I am getting a new MMO but i could decide between Motral online, Darkfall, Aion, or AoC

so I am going to buy AoC,  heres a link to the game, with a game-play video as the second link.

now its rated M for nudity, blood and gore, language, intense violence, and loveual themes.

age of conan was fun. and it looks great.
but for an MMO you dont interact with other players much, other then by choice to talk to them.
i was about 200 hours in and i still felt like i was playing single player oblivion.

and that nudity thing is just a gimmick to make suckers buy a game. its only topless girls, and they all have the same boobs. it gets old really fast.

Darkfall. I dont need to list all the reasons. but i'll list a few for fun

Huge repeating world, no walls.
kill anyone anytime.
frikin pirate ships
variety of weapons, mounts, and races.



But...
9 gigs
15USD p/month
you might not be able to run it that well with all the 10,000 players and their fancy texture-filled armour. plus there are no repeating textures, so all that being rendered at once might lag you. there are no loading screens until you enter buildings.
you can die, and lose all your stuff :c

Try out Darkfall and tell me how it is.

Wonderful game, but over 50% of people who try it wont like it.

revolves around PvP and skill, some overpowered classes, perhaps the mages, AoE is god tier in this game
but in the end it revolves around numbers and the players skill.
Until you join up with a decent guild/clan or group of people, you will just be cannon-fodder for everyone else. Expect to die and die alot.

Okay, great game i advise you all to play if you haven't.

Oh it's a fun game, no doubt. However, I simply just don't feel like paying $15 a month just to play the thing. It would have been much better as a single player like Oblivion.

Now something I will pay $15 a month to play is coming out next year. Star Trek Online :D

It is cool, I can only stand the Necromancer though... and By the way i'm from southern California.
