So, they finally explain what started the war.. Hm. Awesome, can't wait. Also, do you just get access to the beta if you own ODST, or do you have to go to Bungie and enter some code?

They invite you over to play :3

So we get like a message or something?

Would this be by chance based off the book?

Halo Wars takes place before Halo 1.

When it said " This is Siera 259... were not going anywhere" from that quote i remembered that it was included in the book, those were the spartans that came down while john fought in a space station.

Halo Wars takes place before Halo 1.

Yes i know, i placed in in order of making. The history of Halo is like this.

Halo Wars

Halo Fall of Reach

Halo 1

Halo 3 ODST

Halo 2

Halo 3

No.
Contact: Harvest is about the first encounter. The first Covenant encounter was on Harvest, and Sgt. Johnson was there for it. They tried talking with the aliens, make peace, but the prophets commanded them to attack and take the forerunner artifacts built into the planet. Harvest ended up getting overrun.
Reach is the military stronghold of the UNSC, and is where the SPARTAN's were trained. It's an important battleground because almost no one escaped. The Covenant simply glassed the entire planet and killed virtually everyone on it. Any survivors were out of sheer luck, surviving the space battle (Most of the spartans were killed during this fight). I believe this is where Catherine Halsey died; You may know her AI counterpart/version "Cortana". She was essentially John's foster mother.

Halo: Reach (The Fall of Reach is the book, it's just Halo: Reach) is assumed to be about John-117's squad, read The Fall of Reach.

Ah, sorry 'bout that. I haven't read any Halo books yet, can't find any around here D:

Wait... So is this Halo 4? So this'll be the end of the Halo series? But what about the real-ending to Halo 3 and the massive cliff-hanger? If they don't do this I've lost all respect for Bungie and the Halo series.

No, it's not Halo 4. This comes before all of the games, including before Halo Wars.

I would expect that Bungie would make a custom campaign pack for any of the Halo games for 360 that goes through what happens after the true Halo 3 ending, or something of that.

Didn't they say that Halo 3 would be the last?

Didn't they say that Halo 3 would be the last?
If they said that then I'll be pissed. Another game series cancelled with a cliff-hanger un-answered, just great.
