If your downloading any model packs or player models that have to do with other PC games, and you don't own that game, it's illegal because you now have most of the game's model files.

Good grief, you guys are being jerks towards kevdude, I've downloaded user content in garry's mod via torrents too (although more often svn). What torrent client are you using? Can you see other peers/seeds (file sharers)? Depending on your router, you might have to forward some ports. Also make sure you didn't 'skip' any files in the download list.

Yes I can see all of those things. It says it's 6.2. And no I have not skipped anything. But it is now downloading some things but only at a KB per second

Downloading stuff with torrents is slow and unreliable.
