Quick question guys: Do you think the current terrain looks fine? I think it looks alright, but I can see how someone might think obtuse 4x4 cubes looks bad. I could do some cliff-like pattern on them, but it would possibly have two drawbacks:

Might look bad.
Detracts from overall build.

(and a half reason)

Jacks up brick count.

Thoughts?

Leave it.
Cool thanks for giving me an excuse to not do work.

I mean yes you're right doing that would take away from the aesthetics of the build.

Maybe when you're satisfied with the build itself and if you still have some bricks left (That is, you're far enough from lagging yourself,) you could add some fun details to the terrain.
But for now, I say leave it.

I have no problems with bricks lagging my system. I can load the Golden Gate Bridge, Pyramid, Afghanistan DM and my own Military Compound on top of eachother with little to no framerate issues (85,000+ bricks)

I'm afraid I've hit kind of a creativity wall. I've got three empty spaces that I'm just drawing a creative blank on.

However, other parts of the build are going well. I did kind of a bar/social area thing on the second floor and I thought that turned out really well.

I feel like it might be possible to do something like this in the basement, but I don't know. Tell me what you guys think.

I'm kind of bummed, though, I really though I could've gotten this build done today. I've got 3 1/2 more bedrooms, those three empty spaces, a few exterior touch-up (lengthen that walkway and have it include the stairway into the basement.) Then just fly around the build and make 100% sure everything is optimized and ready for a release. Then I need to make a video to show you guys and package the save with the needed add-ons for NWB members to review. Then I am done.

You guys get a save when NWB is done with it.

In the meantime, I haven't touched an FPS in a week and haven't gotten much sleep for two weeks for a variety of reasons.

wall plates are a bit of an over do, it's nice though

Inspiration on one of the three blank spaces.

I personally like this idea a lot. It allows me to subdivide the room without loosing too much space but gaining a kind of faux wall to put furniture against. Even if I don't put it against the railing, at lest this at least breaks it up in such a way that it doesn't look bad with couches around the rim and a coffee table in the middle with a whole bunch of empty space.

For the basement; Wine celler, disco, and entertainment center.
Provided you haven't done any of those yet.

Epic, Keep up the good work, Like I keep saying, I like making interiors look coolh

I love them. And I love you.

Also, in one of your earlier pics, that epic stair case was epic. The one you have now is quite boring D:

The Frank Lloyd Wright style is supposed to be simple and attractive. That staircase is more simple than attractive.

I have like two more bedrooms left and then I am basically done with the building.

In a blank space, put a Meth Lab. Make pot and such.

The build is done :o I need to make a video of it and take an assload of screenshots. Then I can post it to a release thread.
