harharhar! I've had them for 5 years, and have to wear them for a few more! and the only problems i get are when he uses the chain links, it hurts like hell. and sometimes the metal of the front 4 bottom teeth scratch my lip :c

First week,You can not chew at all it hurts to much.
After that no starbursts carmels gum or popcorn.
