He pays bowser to steal peach and they make a game off of it
Bowser works for Nintendo, and steals Peach and leaves a huge trail of strange events between himself and Mario. Such as levels, monsters,
items to HELP Mario, and sometimes rediculous things such as water machines, a fake mario to leave messes, and even bowser going off into space. Nintendo then takes all of Bowser's work, and makes it into a mind control game, where Toad secretly implants mind control into Mario's head and allows people to control him. Nintendo and Bowser working for Nintendo make a whole bunch of money. Bowser is actually invincible and that's why Gordon can't beat him. He fakes death when Mario beats him.
Gordon is completely fictional unlike Mario. Atleast when I play a Nintendo, I get to control a real person.
And be glad they didn't turn Mario into a werewolf and give him a sword. His weapon is only a hammer and will ever only be a hammer.
