i think it should change shape and color at what it's targeting, if it's targeting a zombie or an enemy player it turns red, if it is targeting a fellow player then it turns green. like in star wars battle front.

For Clientsided, I think it'd only be possible to trigger something on you getting hurt, though I'm not sure.

But this could probably be done server sided with some centerprint handywork.
