Not going to lie, BF2142 Does not look much better than BF2 despite the fact that it was released four years after BF2.

Well, they DO use the same engine, which BF 1942 also used.  BF Bad Company was the first to use a new engine.

but battlefields are some of the greatest multiplayer shooters.
they dont just take a single player game and add some multiplayer mode for 16 players, they are made to be massive online shooters, with proper game modes.
