Are you loving kidding me?
Another one?!

Soon Off Topic will be a giant war zone and everyone will hate everyone.

Oh well fuel the flame >:D

I'm kinda on both ways here, my thoughts on this are,

There is a God:

Ever wonder how we managed to land in space perfectly to where we can live on planet earth?

Ever realized how we're born perfectly with lungs, heart, brain, eyes etc. And were not some organism that is missing something to not survive on earth?

How is it that we can think and speak languages have our own cultures and opinions and were not some mindless idiots like mice or fish.

There isn't:

How could there be a huge mystical guy that can create such things as the universe and planets.

How could "God" have powers and we don't

What if some crazy guy made up a rumor saying there is a "God" and told a gullible person(s) then it eventually landed to a religion.

I have more points for each but I don't think my opinions would matter here.

stuff was always here? i'm not sure, but you make a great point, agnostic

That's still simply what I was attempting to convey.

Why was it always here? Why would it ever even come to existence? And if there was something before it, what exactly is nothingness?

Religious people and atheists alike can never answer these questions.

And they are truly mind boggling.

or we could be an experiment to see if beings can solve that problem and we are actually just either a science experiment or computer program, which would bring up the same question to them....

Religion is explanations to paradox's like what was before everything

Nothing IS something

I am agnostic/satanic

Do not ask how you share two opinions or what i believe in all my choice religions are stretched.

Atheists: Try and explain to me, if there is no god, what created the particle that was the Big Bang? And why?

We do not know. Why an answer to this should turn you atheist I do not understand. The main reason I am an atheist is not because we know, but because the proposed hypothesis of God simply does not work.

When in themselves they too create paradoxes.

You can never truly explain a paradox with another paradox, you see.

Seeing that I was right, Jsk has ignored my statement!  :cookieMonster:
Sorry I didn't even see your post.

You'll find that you are quite incorrect, but, since you think that you're correct it is correct in your mind which in effect, means that in the end, it will end up completely true to you. So in disagreeing with me, you are also proving my statement, bitch.

 :cookieMonster:
Strange, because that would only be correct if you are indeed correct in the first place, which is absolutely not true.
Unless we might have different definitions of a soul? What is your definition of a soul?

The first person to give a logical and appropriate response will have converted another one into their ranks: go now.
Ok, we will never know so we should stop trying to question something that we will never get the answer to. We should get on with our life and make the world we live in right now a better place instead of just wondering if there's a special dream world that you might go to after your life.

Ever wonder how we managed to land in space perfectly to where we can live on planet earth?
I never knew we landed in space.
Ever realized how we're born perfectly with lungs, heart, brain, eyes etc. And were not some organism that is missing something to not survive on earth?
It's called evolution. You seem to not know of it.
How is it that we can think and speak languages have our own cultures and opinions and were not some mindless idiots like mice or fish.
Because our brains have the capacity to do so, once again, evolution.

How could there be a huge mystical guy that can create such things as the universe and planets.
One can never know for sure.
How could "God" have powers and we don't
One can never know for sure.
What if some crazy guy made up a rumor saying there is a "God" and told a gullible person(s) then it eventually landed to a religion.
That's most likely what happened, also note that there doesn't have to be religion for there to be a god.

That's still simply what I was attempting to convey.

One can not look in to higher dimensions/planes than the one that they inhabit.

or we could be an experiment to see if beings can solve that problem and we are actually just either a science experiment or computer program, which would bring up the same question to them....

christian/agnostic :D

Wait,You were here when one rebel was?

Is my time judging off or were you just not noticeable...

I was here for one of his later things. I saw a post about them in Drama and read up all about them.

I am anti-religious war. :D

my god...this reminds me of a time in class today when I was explaining to my friend how you can't disrespect somebody's religion or traditions because they are different from your own. (we were debating on whether or not they should mess up Egyptian tombs for bodies and stuff)... yesh, so.

NOTAHNKS, LOCK

You simply have to look at things in a logical point of view. Science will never explain anything. Religion neither. Science can only go so far as to tell us why the physical world works the way it does now, not how it did back then. And even more so, it really just makes you wonder why the hell anything exists, and that in turn brings up questions like these.

The superficial will boast that some mighty power created all, and he is divine, obey his will (their own set of laws) or else burn for eternity. The scientific will explain that the world was created through something we can observe, and then the logical will stare endlessly into space pondering all the what if's in life.

Really, this is all just like Tic-Tac-Toe: the only winning move is not to play.

Please, I have moved on from arguing with petty creationists to full on moderate Christians. Don't bring me back.

I'll give you one word of advice: read a book that doesn't contain the word Jesus.

Well if you look far back enough in Mormon history, there is an explanation, albeit a really messed up one. Granted, this is a view I do not believe in because, c'mon. really? lol

Original Mormons believed that if one lived a truly pure life, we're talking not even a single sin to repent here, that they would be granted godhood and control over their own planet in which to create their own life. So in effect, their own former god made them gods and they go on and make more god candidates and the cycle repeats endlessly. But since technically the amount of Mormons to make that list were so few and sparse, even less than the amount of Judas Priests think heaven allows, there is plenty of room for everyone to make their own messed up coven of mutants. But that was after going back in research for this stuff which is obviously not taught in today's Mormon circles.

They also thought Polygamy was hawt :D

It appears you are taking the position of full agnosticism, where either option has an equal probability of being correct. This is simply not so. The odds are way against the existence of God, but of course there is that tiny, tiny chance.
