Any chance those are the Red Miles Jack unleashed? Dirk and Roxy live in the same year that the exiles did in Pre-Scratch Earth when the miles hit, and don't they technically inhabit the same universe?

Also, looking over this, I wonder if the bright red tilde across uu's icon in any way symbolizes the miles...

But unless it's coming through a Skaia portal, I don't see how it would get to Earth. Jack's Miles hit the pre-scratch universe in 2422, the year Dirk lives in, and The Scratch didn't create a separate universe for them, it just reset the old one.

Also, in EOA6I1, the curtain rig is shown closing in a dark, cloudy, storming sky. Might that be the Uracil Skaia?

I'm almost certain at this point that Uranian Umbra is to Lord English as undying umbrage is to the Noble Circle of Horrorterrors, but I'm not sure which I should be cheering for. UU is nice and uu is an starfish, but the Squiddles are nice while Captain Plumbthroat is an starfish. Also, the Horrorterrors possessed rose and got her killed in an enraged Self Delete-hunt for unknown reasons, while Lord English murdered the author for unknown reasons. I get the feeling that despite their appearance, the Horrorterrors aren't the evil ones because they haven't directly done anything bad, while Lord English broke into authorspace and killed Hussie. Still, the nice uracil troll being associated with the evil multiversal super being doesn't sit well with me, nor does the inverse.
