I think you should help out in any way you can. Straighten her life out before she crumbles it up and throws it away. I'm not saying go religious on her ass, but do what you can to help her. Unless you absolutely don't care about her, which is absolutely wrong in my opinion, but if that is true then get over it and say, "forget her, and forget her hard."Don't get used ones though!

I have tried along with the rest of my family. She's totally against my parents and thinks they're total dumbasses even though they try to straighten her out so she doesn't forget up hard. I used to try to explain to her what she was doing and how stupid of decisions she was making but it proved of no use.

I saw that edit

So did I, lol.

Then let her end up in an alley overdosed on heroine and drunk off her ass.

Your sister is 18, correct?

If so, she has the right do what she's doing, she doesn't need to stay at your parents house and follow their orders, she doesn't need to go to school. It shouldn't be up to your parents whether or not she needs to stay home all the time, if she is 18.

If she is not, just ignore me.

Also: It doesn't really seem like she's ruining her life by smoking cigarettes and hanging with her friends all the time, seeing as you don't know where she's going or what she's doing, you can't really tell if she's making bad choices.

I still am in favor of the hitting her until she stops being a bitch. Some psychiatrists say it leads to long term problems and blah de blah blah, but it works great in the short term, probably 50-100x faster than being loving and caring and supporting.

She's 17 until next May.

My dad/step mom are the kind of people that enforce, "My house, my rules."

It is a rule to drink a lot and stay out as long as you want? If not, then no, they aren't that kind of people.

I highly doubt she does that in front of her parents...

You again eh... and that doesn't really change my point at all.

She's quit her job just because it was "gross," she's an arrogant ass to everyone except her friends, she's just... I can't even explain it.

No, they tried to tell her when she can leave, how long, and whatever, but she ignored it. They're encouraging her to move out when she's 18.

It would appear that you and I have opposite trains of thought. So, now I will give up, but I still think you are wrong in that case.

"Encourage?" I would just kick her ass out, if what you are saying is true, of course.

My step mom just called me down to talk about it. We talked about possible influences, if that's just the way she is, and whatever, but nobody really gets it.

Your sister is either a massive cunt or has some other problem you don't know about.

...

When in doubt, pick cunt.
