I think there should be an option to make it so when you have a bright light on in a house for example it doesnt BEAM right out through the walls.. Is there a way to fix this or if not can this please be fixed!

Not2flame, but here, if you sign your name at the end of a post, bad reputation is bound to come. Just a little heads up.

Lol thanks for the tip.. I dont see how people hate it tho -.-

*Cough* Ontopic: I don't think there is any way of doing this, but I'll wait for somebody more experienced to post
before I say for definite.

Ok fair enough, but also is this a good suggestion?

Its an awesome suggestion, its just that it can't be done without...
engine changes.

Which really sucks, because this would be great for effects (or is it affects? damn...) or realism.

effects- use to describe what something does
affect- use to describe how something changes another thing

Someone new that has common sense! :D

+100 Rep points.

Not to flame either, but:
(Just an easier way)
  • Effect-Present Noun (Effects)
  • Affect-Past Noun (Affected) (Affects)

Or effect as in special effects.

Something like this has been desired a LOT in the game, but unfortunately isn't possible without major engine changes.

You mean is it possible to rewrite the entire lighting engine to allow for an unlimited number of projected shadow volumes, a revolutionary lighting engine that puts all previous attempts at rendering to shame?  Yes, I guess that is technically possible.  Don't hold your breath.
There was another awesome quote, but i can't find it.

Will they change the 'Engine' anytime soon, im doubting it as they did do major updates from the first version of blockland.
