With Hamachi, LAN allows you to do such. It's a very old trick.

The first Red Alert was possibly the greatest RTS ever, plus it's freeware now if any of you want to check it out. RA 2 was fun as well but I dunno, I guess I liked the classy feel of RA 1 since it reminded me so much of C&C 1 except a bit more robust and loving metal.

Follow some of the youtube videos on how to prioritize your Hamachi network over all the other networks. If you'll be hosting, you'll want to do a little extra step too. Wait...
