epic trees, id work on the mountains, otherwise pretty sweet

That looks terrible.
I have to admit, that's an overuse of round bricks.

Most everything else is great though.

some is very spammy and this could easily be reduced to like 60k. I really don't like the build too much except the trees are absolutely amazing.

Just judging by the pictures your build is seriously lacking optimization. A few points...

For paths/roads, if you want a detail texture I suggest you put together (or find a download for) some large print bricks. Filling every path with randomly shaded, grey, flat, circles not only looks awful, but is incredibly wasteful. A large plate print brick (perhaps 8x10 or 8x16) with a decent texture could work wonders.

Additionally, any details not visible to the player (eg. the outside of the palisades, some of the roofs, etc) should be removed. It's just a waste of bricks and basically implies laziness. A better method for the castle walls would be to use the large 8x8 cube bricks. That way, players aren't going to be distracted by some wasteful wall that should be a background feature. You can still keep some detail on the tops of the wall and perhaps even frame the 8x8s with some simple arches, but just keep it simple.

In fact, that awful "stairway to heaven" thing you have in the center of the map just makes your problems worse; not only does it's height reveal how small the playable area is, it also forces you to add unnecessary detail to the tops of buildings. Even if one ignores the fact that the stairway is a massive eyesore, there is still the issue of how out-of-place it looks in a fantasy/medieval setting; structures simply were not built that way and especially not out of stone.

I appreciate that your massive brown walls are an attempt to divide the game world and reduce "lag", but in all honestly it looks terrible and is yet another huge waste of bricks. A better method would be to use the terrain block (this means whipping out those mapping skills) to divide the areas. Not only will it look more natural and save you thousands of bricks, it will also save you time and help with planning if you decide to use pre-made heightmaps for terrain generation.

Another issue is how incredibly repetitive the build is overall. The birds-eye-view is prime evidence of this. The duplicator wand is an amazing tool, but it is no supplement for building unique structures. Unless you are planning on running some kind of concentration camp, I'd use more variety. I realize some of that maybe the player housing you mentioned earlier and to this I'd say "abandon the idea". There is no reason to provide accommodation for players. If the best entertainment you can provide is giving them a cottage then you are in the wrong business.

I'd suggest a restart.

I think that it is rather annoying that Myuto doesn't even look at his posts... sooooo
i have to deal with everythinglike always but i agree about the prints cept, like in Myuto's signature "who ever said spam was a bad thing." Oh and i have a couple o update.

The walls have been destroyed to make it less spammy, and the Library is compete thats the big building in the city that's half way done Oh, and if anyone knows this can you tell me where you get a book print perhaps?

To address the stairway to heaven, its stairs leading up to the top of the mountain to make an underground dungeon.

AND i have to update all of these stuffy pictures...

Spam is a bad thing. If you exceed the 128,000 brick limit you will start to notice missing bricks. There is no reason to use that many bricks for what you are doing (like texturing a road). I think you're confusing "spam" with "detail". Seriously, cut down on the use of bricks and make some prints and large print bricks to go with them.

I'd still delete the "stairway to heaven" and choose something a little more realistic. Even a simple cliff-side path winding it's way up the mountain would look better. A more conservative option would be to simply have the entrance to the dungeon be a cave at ground level. Like I said before, if you really want to go far with this project, switching to using a custom terrain block will make it not only feasible, but significantly easier as well.

Once again
I
Did
Not
Make
This
Myuto did and what he says goes i am just the thread monitor... And we did get rid of the stair way that is an old pic. Instead their is an entrance just outside the gates that doesnt allow any zombies to get in, its also a mining area.

Weapons:
I use the normal RPG weapons such as the Bronze sword and the Yew bow. In game you can upgrade your avatars level and get new weapons and player types. Their is a Mage, Archer, and Warrior. Your level is dependent on how many bots/players that you have killed, or "souls released." Your score is basically the money system that allows you to buy new weapons and armors to help your avatar.

Pictures!

No offence, but does it say Jagex LTD anywhere on it.

If you don't know what I mean by that Jagex LTD made RuneScape...

Because Runescape owns the concept of a Role-play game
You are a moron.

We are currently working on this problem with full effort. I do agree with the, "Spam is a bad thing" quote, and we do understand it's multiple consequences, such as reducing the efficiency of a users computer resources, brick ghosting time, and much more. We appreciate your recommendations, and we will add your comments to our build dictum, while still maintaining reasonable limits.

Other recommendations or advice is greatly welcomed. Feel free to tell us about any situations that might trouble the players during game play. (See pictures)

I can guarantee that this is 100% original.

I don't know, everything?
