Author Topic: Is it possible to get asthma without being exposed to smoke?  (Read 463 times)

If so, what does asthma feel like?

My problems:
  • Weak lungs
  • Heavy cough
  • Trouble Breathing
  • Light headedness

I know I'm not sick with a cold or anything because I've been like this for about a week or 2 now, and it's only been those issues.

I'd go see a doctor, but I don't really have a ride for a few days.

Heavy wheezing for me with a loss of breath, and light-headedness.

Yes.

I had a bit of asthma for a while after I had asthmatic bronchitis, but it has finally gone away.

Asthma can be developed from allergies, which also can enhance asthmatic complications.
Go see a doctor as soon as you can, asthma is a serious complication and has been known to kill those
without immediate attention.

(Also from what you are describing, that is definately asthma, if you are coughing to open your airways to breath more. I have asthmas myself.)
