Thanks to this thread, and playing gauntlet in tech ed today, I'm finally installing WoW again. I'll have fun with my download for the next few weeks, right?

Alright ima pour my brains onto this post.

To me, MMO's have 3 general sections. Generic, generic with flare, and Non-Generic. WOW is the best game in the generic section, and then below it, every other generic mmo. Then, games like flyff are generic, but they have some flare to make it more fun (flying). But flyff actually has combat in the air, and a lot of other flying related things that it might even be considered non-generic. Other non-generic mmo's are the first person ones, like Darkfall.

Dude WoW is definitely more "flair-y" then Flyff, Wow has a lot more to it, with professions, cooler effects
and WAY more classes to choose from, and... you can fly in both.

No really though, your mad because you're mommy doesn't want to pay the fee so you hate everything to do with it.

I enjoy the game. Just because you got to level 5 on a friends account and now cry to your mother every night, and then you post about it here.

Once you get past 70 its great fun, especially when your tanking yoggy at 3AM.

I don't want to say that Guild Wars is better, and it's not, but the graphics in Guild Wars are far more detailed than WoW. But, Guild Wars can sometimes be boring due to the whole "Solo" gameplay, but sure, you can add people to your party and go adventure. Just that nobody adventures anymore... Just looking for runs, Items, and weapons nowadays.
