Author Topic: WoW, Gawd hate it.  (Read 2903 times)

I would only consider WoW a fun game if i had friends who would play the game with me, otherwise it's just a game filled with horde/alliance waiting for you to leave a city so they can kill you and dance on top of your body.

I got to about level 48

:D

No really though, your mad because you're mommy doesn't want to pay the fee so you hate everything to do with it.

I enjoy the game. Just because you got to level 5 on a friends account and now cry to your mother every night, and then you post about it here.

Once you get past 70 its great fun, especially when your tanking yoggy at 3AM.
Nah, I don't mind. I am just saving up for 1 time payments like Border.

No I was talking to the asshat who started this topic.

tried it, boring

to be honest ive found every RPG ive played in a while boring

Its pretty fun for a while. Op is just too biased.

The reason I'm starting to hate WoW is because of the fact that you get little reward for a lot of commitment. The combat isn't fun, the PvP seems like a messed up game of "rock, paper, scissors", and the rate at which you get new content makes your past "accomplishments" somewhat useless. Even the rewards you do get lose their value after a while. I wish I had played in the earlier days, when they didn't hand out epics like condoms at an STD awareness drive.

It's just one of those games that has a short expiration date. inb4someonesaysthateverygameisrepetitive

Sure, it's fun for a while if you play it with friends, but it gets boring easily. Call me completely biased for this, but I didn't even like it to begin with. It was pretty much like those mmos except that it had more freedom, too bad it had dull gameplay in my opinion.

All opposed say "Nay", all agreeing can jump off a cliff.

Meh, I got to level 40-something and just stopped playing.

I felt like I was wasting my life, I would play all day and not do anything else.

I enjoy playing WoW but i don't play it anymore..... I'm too casual to play it, I dislike PvP because of the amount of attention you need to pay to your gear, I dislike playing it because I level up far too slowly and my brother continuously took the piss about how I'd never get to level 60, I suck at money management and I switch between games too often and lose friends :/

So basically I like WoW, but I dislike the amount of commitment you need to put into it

i play all major MMOs at some time.
and i have never been so bored before. i can say that, having experienced other more quality mmo's.
other MMOS with a proper end game, and non fighting related things to do.
the "story" is just chatting to single NPCs for a simple pointless recycled quest.
how lazy

WOW is extremely classic grind and collect rare items. the end game is complete stuff-dead for "fun" content.

and the graphics were complete ass when it was NEW even. maybe that's why its so popular, it can play on anyone's stuff computer.

Isn't that a little redundant?

no there are hundreds of existing MMOs. it would be impossible  to experience even half of them.
and the simple fact that they are not top 100 kind of stuff instantly means they are stuff and not worth the time it takes to try.
MMO has no room for indy gaming. they are expensive and time consuming.

if you cant understand what a major one would be considered then your not a gamer at all.

I like world of warcraft I do, but I personally get to addicted to it, which is why I don't play it. I get way to sucked in to mmo's like that, they end up taking all of my money, which I why the only mmo I have that I have payed for is guild wars, basically for it's 1 time fee.

Hell yeah, no lag at all :D
