Author Topic: 15 reasons to get a Wii  (Read 6116 times)

The wii could be so much more, I wish nintendo would stop letting those cheap 3rd party companies pollute their system.
Nintendo controlled what games were released for their consoles in the '90s, it wasn't exactly a good thing.

It pisses me off how it says that flailing your arm around to play a game makes you fit. Whoever really does that as an excuse to not get on a treadmill should be drug out onto the street and shot. The wii fit board is still no excuse, not to mention how it cost's 60 loving dollars and they want everyone in your family to have one.

In the end though, what can you really do with Natal? Maybe flail around and try and kick some enemy. But how will your character walk around? How will you fire a weapon or access a menu?
It looks nice and flashy at the moment, because that's how people market their stuff.
I don't think Natal will go anywhere after it's released. :/
Honestly, I really want it though. :D

Don't forget, The Conduit is a GREAT FPS for Wii!

Red steel 2 looks pretty bad ass, I better dust off my wii.

I don't think Natal will go anywhere after it's released. :/
Get my friend to believe that. I agree though

I want to be able to lop off peoples heads with a light-saber that follow my Wiimote in a 1:1 ratio.
Ever since the first day of release, I've wanted a fps star wars game

A great FPS for the Wii, but a mediocre game by any other standards.

Ever since the first day of release, I've wanted a fps star wars game
Unlikely, unless it's ported from the 360/PS3; and if it is, it will have horrible controls, look like a PS2 game, and lack features from the 360/PS3 version.

Okay fools, here's how it rolls:

Wii:

Bad:
graphics suck, games suck, controls suck, sensoring sucks.

Good:
Family friendly, fun to play with many people & interactive.

XBOX 360:

Bad:
XBOX LIVE costs money :(

Good:
Graphics pwn, games own, controls rule, talk online.

PS3:

Bad:
No Halo... (does anyone really care?)

Good:
BLUERAY!!!  Blue ray allows the games to store more memory on a single disk (larger arenas/areas) FREE online play! *look at XBOX 360 for the rest*

CONCLUSION:

Wii:   * *

XBOX 360:   * * * *

PS3:   * * * * *

P.S. These rankings are with the price taken into account.

Well lets see... Wesley, half... err I mean all of what you listed is an opinion. So don't be giving any 'conclusions' just yet.

BLUERAY!!!  Blue ray allows the games to store more memory on a single disk (larger arenas/areas)
Yes, but that doesn't matter when the extra space is being filled with the same data that's on the rest of the disc to improve load times. and even then, most multiplatform games load faster on the 360 when not being installed on either console.

Hey crhono thanks for the help with the zombie mod

Nobody cares that PC gamers think they're superior
Nobody cares that console gamers think they're superior

Conclusion: Nobody cares about any of this "we think what you game on is stufftier than what we game on" crap.

-snip-
I must be a dirty glorious console and PC gaming master peasant.
