Author Topic: My hair needs your help  (Read 1786 times)

From a combination of a stuffty straightener and over straightening, it's all fried and whatnot. I'm buying a better straightener, but I would like to "repair" my hair without having to start over. Any tips for saving it and keeping it healthy? It's being soaked with olive oil right now.

buy that fancy girl stuff. the expensive ones. all sorts of lame products with vitamins and crap for hair health.

once a month i fry the stuff out of my hair with 40-volume bleach. its not even for hair lol
it makes my scalp burn itch and its bleeding all over after 15 min of having it in.

but it makes my hair this awesome white/orange color, that feels like dried up straw. then i purple it up lol
but that dead hair straw feeling it gets makes it sweet to style. just a lil hairspray and can do anything to it.

That story totally didn't help my problem, haha.

Also, post a pic of your hair.

Lolwut.

But he's right about the "fancy girl stuff." They do work.
Sometimes they don't, but who cares?

I use horse shampoo. Makes the chicks dig my hair.

stop blow drying and using straitening/straitening products for awhile till its fixed. will never repair if you keep it up.

there is a vitamin E oil i used before. heat that crap up in microwave nice and hot. and apply it heavy all over, every other night for about a week or 2.

He's not a picture person, but I assure you, his purpleness outshines Grimmace from McDonald's.

I've seen him in the pictures thread, but I'm not about to dig through 1,600 pages.

POST AGAIN PLEASE DAMMIT.

oh stuff

I wanna see.

those pics suck. cant even see my hair they were dark.
plus i only take like 1 pic a year. and that last one was like 20 pounds ago. im hotter now and have not this years pic yet.

So...  post a new one? If you have amazing hair, you should show it off.

Wash your hair more often then you normally would also use that girl fancy stuff. When I used to straighten my hair in 7th grade I fried the stuff out of it, luckily I have a sister that owns good hair stuff. :D

i only wash my hair on sundays lol.

How often should I wash? How often should I shampoo?

Hygiene is complex?

Anyway probably go for the girly (yeah well it holds better) "Herbal Essences Dangerously Straight" conditioner. And get a better shampoo so your scalp doesn't kill itself. Dirty hair holds better but it will mess up quicker, so you should probably wash at least twice a day. Also you might want to cut your sideburns, it's the little things that people tend to notice.

And/Or buy a thing of Crew pomade or gel. Keeps things in order, and I've had good results with it. I get them at Target for about $4.
