Well, that's exactly the one I described. I'm still not sure how you'd save it, though.
Thus the cookie monster.And I think it would save fine, seeing how JVS bricks don't lose their color or anything when they're saved/loaded.
JVS Content saves it by having the content shape the same colour as the brick. If you have the two different, only the brick's colour will save.

you also can make 2 seperate bricks of it. A window-plane brick and a window-frame brick. Then you could paint them seperately
That would involve placing a brick inside a brick, I believe.
You could put the color ID in the print ID variable of the frame so that it saves it that way? The frames wouldn't have prints anyway, of course.
Ah I suppose you're right, however static shapes lag more than using fxdtsbricks.
