I like this idea better

I agree. This would also allow for other players to view them.

Well, that's exactly the one I described. I'm still not sure how you'd save it, though.

Thus the cookie monster.
And I think it would save fine, seeing how JVS bricks don't lose their color or anything when they're saved/loaded.

Oops, I thought Niliscro was referring to both your comments, favouring them over mine. :p

JVS Content saves it by having the content shape the same colour as the brick. If you have the two different, only the brick's colour will save.

You could put the color ID in the print ID variable of the frame so that it saves it that way? The frames wouldn't have prints anyway, of course.

Bump.
you also can make 2 seperate bricks of it. A window-plane brick and a window-frame brick. Then you could paint them seperately

That would involve placing a brick inside a brick, I believe.

It could be two different bricks. The frame automatically plants the pane, and when either of them are destroyed, both are destroyed. And have the frame not load the pane if the bricks were loaded and not planted.

Better get Chuck Norris in here.

Ontopic: Good idea, would be useful. :)

Entirely possible. :cookieMonster:

Bricks in bricks can cause some weird errors though. So if you use a static shape,

Ah I suppose you're right, however static shapes lag more than using fxdtsbricks.

Then they'd have to limit theirselves, just like they do with JVS.
