What, so agreeing with a conclusion after studying the subject watching Cosmos a couple times and seeing lots of evidence in favor of it being told by "scientists" that they have evidence when they really don't makes me a tool?
What about you, accepting creationism solely because your family said the bible is true? Doesn't that make you give in to peer pressure? Is hypocrisy a virtue of Christianity?
That's bull. I highly doubt that you have studied the subject enough to form your own opinion, without any influence from other people. You are simply choosing evolution because it is the only view on the origin of man to totally exclude any form of God, or you are choosing evolution because of "scientific consensus", or in other words, you are believing it because everyone else believes it. Neither of those reasonings are very scientific, are they? They aren't basing anything off of actual observation, are they?
And again, you assume a straw man. I do not accept creation because my family said the Bible is true. I did not come at the subject, already believing one side or another. I accept creation because I have
actually studied the subject extensively, and
actually saw tangible evidence in support of it.
Just give it up, already. There is no actual evidence for evolution that has been found anywhere. It is simply a hypothesis, put forth by Darwin, that extends his original (and correct) conclusion of microevolution. He used the scientific method to find natural selection. The "theory" of macroevolution is simply an hypothesized extension, as it's literally put forth in "The Origin of Species". Face it, it's just not going to happen.
