are you an audiophile? If no, don't even bother.

Yes, I am.  That's why I was thinking of getting a sound card...

Dude, I just want to get biology over with.  My major has nothing to do with biology, so why would I do anything above the requirement?

I'm laughing because you don't know anything about biology.

I'm laughing because you don't know anything about biology.

Trust me, I know exactly why you are laughing.

Not taking anything above the basic biology course in college doesn't mean I don't know anything about biology.

You reject scientific consensus because you think it's a giant conspiracy. I call that not knowing anything about biology.

And you're in college? You really are an embarrassment.

Man, you just love to bring this in to every topic, don't you?

So rejecting scientific consensus, which is notorious for being false, means I know nothing about biology.

In other words, "believe it because everyone else believes it, otherwise you don't know what you are talking about".

Are we resorting to peer pressure now?

I know.  I just want to use an actual, high-quality sound card.
You're not gonna notice any difference at all, unless you're a huge music maker.

You're done. You've just proved everything you say is invalid.

Depends on your speaker set up, and I think he is a "music maker".

You're done. You've just proved everything you say is invalid.

So, peer pressure didn't work, and now we're resorting to affirmations?

You know, if you say it enough times, it just might happen.

What, so agreeing with a conclusion after studying the subject and seeing lots of evidence in favor of it makes me a tool?

What about you, accepting creationism solely because your family said the bible is true? Doesn't that make you give in to peer pressure? Is hypocrisy a virtue of Christianity?

What, so agreeing with a conclusion after studying the subject watching Cosmos a couple times and seeing lots of evidence in favor of it being told by "scientists" that they have evidence when they really don't makes me a tool?

That's bull.  I highly doubt that you have studied the subject enough to form your own opinion, without any influence from other people.  You are simply choosing evolution because it is the only view on the origin of man to totally exclude any form of God, or you are choosing evolution because of "scientific consensus", or in other words, you are believing it because everyone else believes it.  Neither of those reasonings are very scientific, are they?  They aren't basing anything off of actual observation, are they?

And again, you assume a straw man.  I do not accept creation because my family said the Bible is true.  I did not come at the subject, already believing one side or another.  I accept creation because I have actually studied the subject extensively, and actually saw tangible evidence in support of it.

Just give it up, already.  There is no actual evidence for evolution that has been found anywhere.  It is simply a hypothesis, put forth by Darwin, that extends his original (and correct) conclusion of microevolution.  He used the scientific method to find natural selection.  The "theory" of macroevolution is simply an hypothesized extension, as it's literally put forth in "The Origin of Species".  Face it, it's just not going to happen.

You studied creation extensively and found tangible evidence, as several people have studied evolution.  You found your own form of evidence because you wanted to.  You had a subconscious desire to accept creation since mommy and daddy did.  There is no actual evidence to support creation, other than the bible and several loonies who claimed to have spoke with god.  Yet you chose it.  You also expect us to believe you studied it extensively but will not accept the fact that your opponents in this debate have studied the other side.  You're digging yourself a bigger hole here pal.

And where is this tangible evidence for evolution?  Perhaps you could find some evidence that isn't falsified, while you are at it.  There is no "form of evidence".  We are all looking at the same facts, the difference is in the interpretation.  As for the subconscious desire, that's obviously bull.  The actual evidence to support creation lies in the amazing amount of evidence that supports other biblical accounts, such as the great flood, the table of nations, etc.  I do not claim to have spoken with God, that is only claimed by actual loonies who are not real Christians, you are obviously setting up a straw man.  In my mind, if you have actually studied the subject with an open mind, you wouldn't be acting like Inverted.

How the hell did this turn from what we were talking about to this.

There is absolutely no evidence for the biblical creation stories. You exclude everything found by modern science because you assume it is biased against your own handicapped views. The reality is that you are breaking the scientific method by assuming these accounts before even finding a shred of peer reviewed evidence. Macro and microevolution are arbitrarily separated, as the definition of species is also arbitrary. The fact is that life isn't a bunch of living organisms broken up into groups, but rather a gradient of gradual change.

Macroevolution has been proven a fact. Just because the greatest minds on the planet say this doesn't make it a conspiracy.
