Author Topic: IT'S OFFICIAL TF2 UPDATE FOR DEMOMAN VS SOLDIER  (Read 62609 times)

Not sure. The trading system was made by the people who made the idler.

Valve had to have added some kind of support in, because otherwise it'd be possible to get whatever items you want and whenever you want to.

So idlers cannot trade hats? Gtfo valve

How did you infer that?

Got Soldier Milestone 3 and I still haven't gotten any of my weapons.

This:

does this mean i can't trade hats? D:
Yes, it also means you're an idler.

It sounded like they said valve made it so idlers cannot trade hats.

It's worse than the scout update. Soldiers are OK and easy to kill as always if you know how, but now them Demomen with the Targe and Eyelander? One of my teammates blew through a crowd of people, killed them all, not even in the red health. Eyelander + Charge need a nerf IMO.

"we'll run a process to give out all milestone items that should have been previously dropped"

Good, because I just got the third Soldier Milestone while the system was down. :(

What is this trading thing? And how do I?

Eyelander+charge needs removal/replacement IMO. It completely changes the Demoman to an offensive class and undermines his entire purpose. The defensive classes needed defensive unlockables, not a loving claymore/crit charge thing that turns it into an offensive class.

Not to mention the targe makes a demo loving impossible to kill as a soldier.

If you don't have the Direct Hit to hit him as he dashes at you and the Equalizer to whack at him as he hits you, yes, and even then it's hard.

Honestly, I think both the Soldier and Demo's weapons are over-powered. As stated above about Demoman I can agree with. Moving onto Soldier, the rocket launcher he has shoots faster rockets and due to the fast speed and can easily hit a single enemy even though it's blast is not huge. The buff-banner gives everyone around you mini-crits and if it consists of two Heavies you'd be easily forgeted. The Equalizer gives you more damage as you have low-health, and it's funny to watch people instantly switch to a fully loaded rocket-launcher or shotgun just to use the Equalizer and hope they can get a single kill.

Direct Hit is for pro-soldiers, dude.

I think they just fixed the milestone system, as soon as my inventory went back up and I died, I got the Buff Banner.
