You have probably realized that having a 20mbps connection does not mean that everything you download will be downloaded at that speed.

Go here and post your average download speed (or the highest you've seen it go).

It is recommended that you choose the server that is closest to where you live.

Also, you don't have to finish downloading the file.

I can tell you off by hand. Download is 0.26mb/s (30kB/s) and upload is 0.13mb/s (15kB/s).
Soon going to get max possible in this country, 24mb/s download, 2mb/s upload.

Yours is still faster, if you are talking about kB and not kb. (Kilobyte/kilobit)

I have gotten 1.7MB/s from Steam. That's the fastest that I've gotten, I think.
