Author Topic: "Don't copy that floppy" needs to be shared with the world  (Read 3278 times)

I do have a zero tolerance policy for circular logic. Unfortunately I was not using it, as I was deliberately contradicting zz_tophat's post.
You're right, that wasn't circular logic.

I don't even know what you two are going on about, so I'm just going to leave this argument.

I'm leaving too, I could do this all day but I'd rather be playing killing floor.

I'm going to copy crysis onto 12,288 floppy disks and there's nothing you can do about it!

AHAHAHAHA

where did i put disk 1,403?

I put [Prototype] on it.

People who pirate games are sick cold bastards that should be shot multiple times before have their limbs ripped off. The same goes for people who cheat.

That's not really a faltering on his education if the sources he copies it from get it wrong.

Secondly the illegal action comes from the fact of licensing. The companies are officially licensed to reproduce and distribute the media as they see fit. The regular schmo on the street does not own that right nor are they given permission to make copies and distribute those copies outside of the original right owners wishes. That is where all this illegal action is taking place.

You all bitch and whine about build stealing, yet you all think it's okay to copy DVDs. It's the same damn thing! So if you all think making DVD copies are okay, quit crying about your builds getting stolen. End the stupid argument already.

That's another meaning of the word steal, the third in fact.

GET A DICTIONARY.

No, changing the vernacular for purely "shock and awe" ad campaign reasons is.
Big words don't improve your argument, by the way.  I can tell that you're paging through one right now.

It was the irony I was laughing at.

And I gave up caring about this topic a long time ago.

This was a comment on the channel page of that video's uploader:

This is the kind of stuff people use to justify theft. "Stealing implies ownership," so I can walk into peoples' houses and steal their TV, but it's okay as long as I'm implying ownership?

THERE IS NO JUSTIFICATION TO BREAKING THE LAW.

That being said, this was also a channel comment:

I got a decent lol out of that.
You're stupid. That means it implies that the victim had ownership of it in the first place.
