Author Topic: Extremely Annoying Conversations  (Read 1531 times)

I get so frustrated while talking to people sometimes, especially using text. (txt, IM, e-mail)
There are so many things that just grind my gears. I'm wondering if I'm the only one that get's pissed off when talking to someone.

First off, the "typical" converstaion:

Monday:
boringGIRL: Hey!!
Me: hey
boringGIRL: What's up
Me: <instert anything here>
boringGirlL: of funn

Tuesday:
boringGIRL: Hey!!
Me: hey
boringGIRL: What's up
Me: <instert anything here>
boringGirlL: of funn

...All the other days

I've even had two girls texting me at the same time. Both said, "Hey!!!111" then, "what's up!" I decided to say the same thing. I can't remember what I was doing. Both said funn.

Second, the word cool.
People don't know how to use it anymore. It's become a completely sarcastic word.

Person: Hey how did skiing go?
Me: Good first, < insert long story here>
Person: Cool
Me: Ya...

How am I supposed to reply to that? Also, the word "Lol", how do I reply to that?
I waive these words off to mean: "I really could care less."

The list just goes on and on.

Discuss things people say that piss you off:

I hate people who complain that I don't read my text messages. If you want to contact me, then just loving call. Otherwise, what you are saying is not important enough for me to know.

I have a friend who will, online or otherwise, respond to 90% of what I say with "okay".

I hate when people can't keep a conversation going. They are bored so they message you, but they reply with one word answers so you have to keep supplying them with topics. You eventually run out of ideas and they say that you aren't very good at conversations. >:( It happens to me all the time.

You suck at conversations. >:(

"What's up" has become superficial.  It no longer means, "What is going on," it's become more, "I want to sound like I care when I really don't."
Same with a lot of other things, too.

This disappoints me.

Yes, it pisses me very the much off. Nobody seems to have a brain in working order. It's all "OK" or "IDK" or "Lol".

Yeah, but lucky for me most (if not all) of my friends are intelligent in 90% of their texts.

This is a 100% true thread, they also end every single sentence with "XD" or some similar smiley. God it's so annoying, then they think I'm being mean for not replying? I don't reply because you say the same "im bord lols" after every reply.

There's this one chick that I talk to who has a texting formula when communicating with me. It works exactly like this and like this every single time without fail:

Her: what r u d0ing (She NEVER uses o's, only 0's, loving moron)
Me: Uh, I'm [X]
Her: [Needs to know all about X cause she's a snoopy bitch]
Me: [I provide details]
Her: [Insert handicapped comment about X that there's not really a response to.]

For example, a few weeks ago me and my mom were visiting at my sister's house. At about 6 we all (Me, mom, sister, her husband, 3 nephews, 1 baby niece) decided to go to McDonalds. While eating, this text message conversation ensued with her:

Her: what r u d0ing
Me: Eating
Her: where?
Me: McDonalds
Her: 0h i l0ve the chicken mcnuggets!

How do I respond to that? I can't, so I didn't.

Oh and don't even get me started on the bitches who text, "entertain me" It makes me want to rip the skin off their face as slowly as possible.

How do I respond to that? I can't, so I didn't.

You respond with a swift slap to the face and a request for a sammich.

I hate it when people resort to trying to be cute, and use *pokes* or something to get your attention, when the conversation stops.

If I stopped talking, it's because I was done talking. If you have something to say, say it. D:<

This plus, "rawr" Both make me want to hurt someone.
