My A+ certification would love to argue with you Inv3rted

stuff GUYS HE'S QUALIFIED

My A+ certification would love to argue with you Inv3rted, but it's busy trying to sell my computer.  Of course I know that, and I'll give him the benefit of the doubt with the 2.2Ghz Athlon, but really... Why in god's name does playing source games on an 8200 have to be impossible with you guys? It loving works. I play them all the time... For christ sakes... CS:S works on my mom's computer from when I was like 6.

Edit: Also, if you really want to keep complaining about something you aren't even going to consider buying, it has a free PCI Express x16 port to UPGRADE GRAPHICS WITH. There you go. Now leave.
Oh, wait its a desktop? Meh. I'm less forward to buying it now, I'm really more or less looking for a laptop.

Do people buy old crap on eBay? Like stuff they havnt made for 15 years?

1. Go to eBay and search "Dell"
2. Select the viewing option "lowest price +shipping"
3. Huzzah!

Old stuff that nobody needs for fair prices. (And a LOT of it.)

What resolution do you play those games at?

Where is the video?  What's your fps?  Your A+ certification is bullstuff useless if you can't understand that it is physically impossible for an 8200 to run those games at highest or that RAM isn't all that important.

Or $300.
That's what I'm asking. How is an 8200 with an AMD Sempron 2.23 GHz able to run Source at max when my AMD Athlon 2.2 GHz and 8600 on my old desktop config could only run Source at maybe medium-ish.
I can run a source game with a 8400(512 mb video ram) on max settings. 1024x768

1280x1024, usually.

Zaran: I'm not going out of my way to please you. Just call it a day and go do something useful.

At first I found it hard to believe how persistent you two were, but I'm starting to get the idea that you two enjoy running into Best Buy and finding an employee in the computer section to bitch at. Get a life. <3

i got my masters IT degree and hang my fancy diploma in place of the 30 useless certifications i earned while getting it.

cigarette: "hey look at my cert, its like taking a single class of your entire degree"

lollololol

tough guy eh?
Damn straight. :)

And Inv3rted... If put as much effort into curing cancer as you do into pestering me, you would be a loving world hero.

If you didn't lie to potential buyers, you wouldn't be a scam artist.

360 is good price for that tower though

Damn straight. :)
You really are an arrogant prick, aren't you? :)
