ASP is disgusting.

I wouldn't recommend Dreamhost if you were going for their cheap shared server plan, unless you don't need reliable uptime. RTB started off on a shared server originally - it was down a fair bit.

http://www.000webhost.com/ I use this. You can make the HTML or you can use the site creator tool.

Oh, and this is free. All domains will be like http://www.hostzi.YOURNAMEHERE.com or something.

OSHT, I didn't put url links on that :O But it is still a link.

No, this isn't a site builder website.

Anyway, I have used www.awardspace.com for a long time now. It supports PHP, MySQL, FTP, 5 subdomains, and most things you would like to have when putting up a website, like a graphical interface filemanager. There's only 5GB/month upload, but I don't think you gonna reach that limit.
I found it fast at the first time, but has gone slower recently. It was a lot faster than freewebs anyway.

To sum up: A fast reliable webhost which do what they promise.
I'm currently using dreamhost, though I have used award space in the past for free web hosting and would recommend it - had one issue but it was quickly solved by posting a support ticket.
This looks promising, I'll look at there page.

It doesn't give a very long list of stats, so I bet it is just as restrictive as there free hosting plans.

I was thinking about that, but I started to see bad reviews. Have you had a good experience with it?

Thats odd, I've never had a problem and I'm on a shared server. Maybe you just got unlucky...

They only suck a bit.
:cookieMonster:
Yes, some of the limits suck.
Wait a minute, do you find that site through me?

ASP is disgusting.
I was joking. Obviously, it wasn't that obvious...

Tom

Doesn't ASP only work in windows servers anyway?
