The codename for the newest Sonic game, Sega might actually do something worth while again.

According to Sega, they are focusing on the classics. Sonic the Hedgehog, speed and 2D-style platforming.
Also, Sonic will be the only playable character with no new characters to speak of.

There was a picture of a badnik-crab thing, but I can't seem to find it.
Anywho, this round it sounds like they are going back to the basics so I am a bit hopeful this round.

What are your thoughts?
I realize this might be old news, but it is interesting.

I have all of my old Sonic games. :3 (none of the newfangled ones for the Wii, though, Sonic went uncool and the fanbase became 11-year-olds who did stuffty recolors of stuff, yeah.)
