Author Topic: Cover "Art" For A Friend's Book  (Read 1517 times)

This took me approximately an hour and a half to do:

And it's for a short story by a friend. You probably are wondering why there's no title, and that's because he had a specific font he wanted to use that is very hard to find and is not automatically included in Windows, and he's doing that part himself. (He also didn't tell me the name :P)
It's supposed to look a bit "cartoon-y," although I'm not sure why, but that's what he asked me to do. :P
Either way, yeah, there you go. :o (the original image is 1500x2000)
It's nothing special but I thought I should share my first drawing with my laptop and tablet with you guys.

I like it.

Except for the dude with the spiked club, he looks funky. :S

The sky kills it for me. Try using solid colors like you did on the rest of the picture.

I like it.

He's supposed to xD
But, er, yeah. :P

Also, Thal, I can't really change it anymore. (There's more than a few reasons :P)

Thanks for the feedback guys.

He's supposed to xD
supposed to xD
xD

What gay humor do you have?
Except for the dude with the spiked club, he looks funky. :S
This isn't funny in any ways. Stop overusing the damn xD emote.

I completely appreciate the constructive criticis-

Oh wait, you didn't. Nevermind, I don't even care enough to bother with that pointless post you just made which was no help to my drawing whatsoever.

shut up furcigarette.

Meh, I think he should just stay at drawing furries.

Sweet I like the style of going out the lines and being a bit messy! Good job.

Pretty cool looking, Like how you used textures on the sky.

Haha yeah I intended the messyness for a bit of an effect, but I suppose it didn't work correctly. Thanks Valen. :D

By the way, Chris likes it. :3 (the guy who wrote the book)

Lol'd and after I go turn my router off for a half hour to reduce cooling issues. :P
