Good RTS Game

I'm looking for a good RTS game for the PC.
I enjoy base building and defending/attacking mostly (I love Starcraft, for example) but any style RTS is good.

Also, no fantasy stuff. I hate that.

It's more in the style of Sid Meier's Civilization but it's currently my favorite RTS. It's probably worth it to check out the other total war games aswell.
