No. The pistols are perfectly balanced. They are meant to be a SIDEARM not your primary weapon. They are quite useful at longer ranges because they raycast. They also fire quite fast.

i never said they weren't viable weapons on their own

perfect case in point: the Scout and Engineer from team fortress. as a rule, you empty your shotgun first, then switch to the pistol (which you can reload quickly and efficiently) to finish off the target

look if you don't like these weapons, don't download them. no reason to stuff all over my topic.



and if you're about to turn that around with an example from rykuta's weapon pack, we have good reason: the scripts aren't his and he seems to love passing them off as if they were. apparently the same goes for the models, too
