Why are the players at level one and two, and fighting the Dragon, who is the second? boss?

Anyway I love this game because you can grind bosses, get to a high level, and then have fun in bad ass armor and stuff.

Amazing game! My friend owns the actually cabinet and my other friend has the GameCube port. I've put countless hours into both games. I've really been wanting to play it recently...

I used to play the arcade version. I think it even had a means to save progress so you could "log back in" by inserting a quarter and inputing your name.
