Statues of bad people serve as a reminder not to let it happen again not as a way of glorifying them. Additionally a lot of the Confederate statues serve as a memorial for the Confederate soldiers who died fighting for what they believe in and we should honor them for that (even if what they believed in was objectively bad).
Having a stoic-looking statue of the guy on a literal high horse with freedom and liberty symbolism decorating the space below the statue that isn't taken up by a massive print of his name gives off a "glorification" vibe more than it does a "this is a statue of a dangerous tribal" one.

The 15 person guillotine patent is still up in the air.

I'm tired so here's a short response:

- Who cares if I make guillotine jokes? If you hold that against me, that's your problem.
- It's very clear that nobody here is going to be nice. I have nothing to gain from being the "bigger man," though I'm honestly not sure what you meant by that because I seriously don't directly insult people all that often.
- I do post evidence for my claims. Almost all of them. It's a bit of a hassle to retrieve a source every time I mention something because, other than the fact that I have already posted it most of the time, I know for a fact it's going to be ignored. Of you want something to be sourced, just ask me for the source. Nobody does this, of course, because they are rarely interesting in humoring my argument.
- You want me to compromise? Give me a reason to comprimise. Come up with a reasonable defense of capitalism that isn't "but socialism bad!".
- My arguments are rarely heavily fallacious, and regardless it does not make my claims any less true, but noted.

You seem to be more upset that I don't like liberals than you are about my actual argument. Consider this: I don't like liberals because they demand compromise with damaging ideologies without giving any reason to do so. They want compromise simply for the comfort of the opposing side. If you want comfort, you're not going to find it with capitalism.

Why did you have to come for Toxicology like this?

This is the literal exact thing I just talked about. Saying stuff like this doesn't just get you nowhere, it hurts you and what you claim to stand for.
You made it clear that you weren't going to listen to anything I had to say. Why should I show you respect and get none in return?

Kimon is getting out of hand and into the Huey
Consider the following:
So Annoying Orange is now talking about not ruling out military intervention in Venezuela. Wasn't he the non interventionist, anti globalist savior we all needed?
Yeah he's totally in it to save Venezuela from a dictatorship and he's DEFINITELY not trying to destroy Venezuelan socialism while the country is at its weakest.
Then again I've never looked into Venezuela's government enough to know if it's a socialist state or a Social Democrat state

Mr. Marx, I'm going to put this in terms you can understand: you have 0 credibility. Period. A man who supports the evil empire should not be given a voice in the conversation of economics.
Karl Marx died before the Soviet Union was even a concept. Are you roleplaying post-alzheimers Reagan?

I'm coming very close to being convinced that kimon is secretly an alt right troll who has made it his mission to try and undermine liberal ideology by arguing for it in the worst possible way, filled with borderline extremist rhetoric, bad logic and sweeping generalizations. He then gets "humiliated" and people get further and further polarized on the issues, not realizing that a bad argument does not a false claim make.

If kimon is actually liberal then it's most definitely in his interest to just stop altogether or take a critical thinking & debate course to learn how to debate properly in a way that tries to both be respectful to all involved and tries to actually convince people which may have polar opposite political beliefs of the point.
I'm not a liberal. forget off with your non-committal "extremist" finger pointing, you coward.
It's interesting how you say this without even trying to consider my argument, let alone respond to it, though. God forbid you break your centrist bubble and step outside the status quo for a moment.
do you have a background in economics kimon
Why is this relevant? Better yet, how is it a response?

There is no such thing as "No Mans Sky". The United States of America rules the sky.
The workers will rule America

Buy an order of cheese bites from Chili's and some of their chips (I like them better without salsa, queso dip is ok) and you will see the error of your ways
