Don't get gung-ho. Be aware of these things.
1) America is becoming destabilized.
2) China's annual GDP has now eclipsed the US's.
3) China is instigating the Philippines, an American ally that has recently reaffirmed that it will defend Philippines maritime borders against China.
3) Russia is instigating Turkey and by extension NATO.
4) CIA is targeting the United States.
The Chinese have a saying: "If we all spit at our enemy, they will drown". The loss of life in a war between US and China would be in the hundreds of millions and devastate the entire world. America is not going to "liberate" China, and the Chinese do not want American help with their problems. It's the exact same reason we haven't come "liberated" North Korea. The North Koreans have been taught their entire life the US is their enemy and will naturally resist an invasion.

This is an easily exploited way to both annoy people and put them at risk for phishing scams. I built the animal special interest site just so people could forget around and prank their friends by posting images on message boards like I have. I figure if enough people start doing it it'll force their hand.
The Firefox devs don't want to fix it because doing so
Problem is I can't think of any legit site that even uses this manner of authentication anymore, they build their own login page.

On all other browsers, it shows the prompt anywhere you link the image. This can be used to trick people to submitting information to what they believe is a trustworthy website.the image is broken

Opera and Chrome have a policy that is checked when opening the prompt. They ask, "Is the website we're at now the same as this image which required auth?" If the answer is "no", it shows a broken image. If you visit the site directly, you get the prompt.
FireFox, IE, and Safari DO NOT DO THIS. Meaning, when you open THIS PAGE in FireFox, you get a prompt saying your Facebook details need to be resubmitted while browsing Blockland.
