Off Topic / NETGEAR Adapter Dilemma (A6200) Fixed?

I use a Netgear A6200 Adapter to connect to my desktop to my WiFi.


Usually it works fine and has no issues. However, as of recently, it has been randomly disconnecting from the internet for no apparent reason; disallowing me to do many basic functions. As I'm typing this, I've already lost connection twice.

EDIT: Let me clarify that I'm not completely losing connection, I just can't connect to anything and steam will go offline. It usually lasts about 30 - 40 seconds and happens every 4 - 5 minutes.

8:24 PM - Lost connection to Steam, will rejoin chat automatically when connection regained.
8:25 PM - Connected again and rejoined chat.

Here's what I've tried to do to fix the issue:

But still nothing has changed.

According to a user on the NETGEAR forum, it's an issue with Win10. I don't understand this since I've had Windows 10 for multiple months now and have never had this issue.
What I've tried and hasn't worked:

1. Update the adapter's drivers (Windows says they are up to date)

2. Reset router / computer

3. Disable minimal power consumption.
Other options I can think of:

1. Downgrade to windows 8.1.
I don't think I can downgrade because I've had it for over the trial days, and would have to reset my PC to downgrade. I'm not going to reinstall all of my applications.

2. Buy another adapter?

I don't know a lot about this type of hardware so if somebody could give me better insight or possibly advice I would really appreciate it.

We get that you think your joke clan is hilarious, but making a troll topic does not entitle you to create a plethora of garbage posts for the sake of keeping your 15 minutes of fame alive. This demeanor that he's gotten from thinking he's hilarious has resulted in him encouraging other people to make these garbage posts.
As a result of this handicapped topic, several other Harvest-mocking clans have been created for the same purpose as Niff: To attract negative attention and to find an excuse to troll.

Let me clarify that there is a difference between posting exclusively garbage and posting in a sarcastic NOT intentionally handicapped way (like Niff) with good taste. Even then, I don't get defensive and stop when people ask. I've recently been trying to limit posts where I can't put in my valid opinion to avoid garbage posts like the majority of Niff's.

These are things that you'll probably see in response to this topic which are completely invalid arguments that I'll shortly address.

The Squad was recently changed to avoid any controversy and is regarded as a serious and non-troll clan. My defense has already been posted here.

"Niff is just joking! You're too serious and an starfish!"
The latter may be true, however, this argument is just a poor defense mechanism and doesn't compensate for anything Niff has done.

To Summarize. . .

Niff has taken his troll clan and demeanor too far to the point where it's leaking out of it's stuff hole and contaminating other boards. He defends it exclusively with "You're too serious", "butthurt!", and other pathetic attempts and covering his ass. The only thing Niff can do here is lock his topic and move on and try to think before he posts.

ive been in salt shake therapy for a few months already, currently waiting to start my spice therapy, which is great.
i know that a few users on here were aware of this already, but they've been nice enough not to call it out.
so yeah, im a salt shaker. personally i really don't like the tag salt shaker. call me what i am, male or salt, if you call me a dude or whatever i dont mind at all.
i know this isnt TOO descriptive but im still really like not used to talking about things like this openly.

the path ive already been on related to gender has been stuffty, its been spending a lot of my time, which sucks because i could have spent it on my large amount of hobbies if it wasnt for being stuck in this mess.
