depends on the game. from a technical point of view, it just needs to be functional and playable without much trouble. i can forgive performnace dips if there's a ton of stuff going on at once tho

good framerate, fov, and fun to use weapons (if it's an FPS)

*memorable characters
*good storyline
*not mix real world with fake world (ie a Camaro in space)
*not having any progress impeding glitches
*enough servers to handle it if online only (I'm looking at you simcity)
*allow for exploration

  • no items
  • fox only
  • final destination


  • Good camera view
  • Plot that keeps you hooked in
  • Decent character design
  • Takes place in the White House
  • Is Cory in the House for DS

A shotgun that sounds amazing. Duke Nukem 3D and Half-Life had perfect shotguns.


  • Decent character creation/customization.
    I'm a sucker for games that give me a lot of controll in creating my own character, even if it's single player.
  • Decent soundtrack.
  • Not complete ass.
