I want the Civ stage to be more of an RTS, that follows into the space stage. Maybe have the tribe, civ, and space flow seamlessly into each other.
Basically you design your own vehicles/vehicle types, maybe tech trees, as well as units/unit types. Place cities wherever and expand them out, choose where each building goes rather than following a specific grid. Also with this choosing what buildings can build what units, vehicles, and tech tree upgrades. This would be the same throughout the 3 stages only with more to add in each stage.
Hopefully add to the challenge of the tribe and civ stages. They were too short lived and easy. Not to mention the stuff you did there was basically useless upon entering the space stage.
Lastly, change the way you conquer planets. Instead of just one ship taking on the whole planet, have that ship drop a few outposts, build mini forts and begin to siege a planet that way.
Anyone else want something similar to that?
Other than that, look forward to the expanded gameplay and creature parts. Although I'll probably hold off on getting them right away.
