Stop telling him it would work, You don't want a NVIDIA Quadro for gaming.

Then will you suggest a good gaming computer thats under $400? If not gaming computer, a computer that runs oblivion smoothly?

You need to spend $800 to ensure its going to get you places.
I'm not going to lie, but what is 800 today is what I considered good a while back. Don't buy something you'll have to replace.

By ATi, Nvidia, MSI or a similarly famous manufacturer. Don't buy a bargain bin sale product by a company cheaper than American junk food.

Spoke too soon, I broke it :D

Need to reget the shaders i think
Nexus comes to the rescue :D

MSI doesn't design video cards and ATI and Nvidia don't manufacture them.

HECK YEAR

Look.

there is no computer that is "GOOD" for under 400$.

All gaming computers are atleast 800ish to run anything decent these days. Oblivion was ahead of its time so youll still need a decent computer.

Most video cards alone are like 200$ the decent ones.

400$ Won't get you a computer that can run squat. The second you see "Integrated Video Card" Which is what all those computers have that youve asked about its pointless. Integrated video cards hog down the computer even more making it even worse.

Sorry to say but 400$ will not let you play oblivion.

400$ will get you a office computer to do homework on and use MSN.

I remember when i went through your stage too... i wanted a cheap computer that could run decent games, but its just impossible and i worked for about 4 months and bought myself a 1300$ Computer 2 years ago which is still running everything fine on high high settings :).

hi otis :).

This is what you need, notice the systems specs of this and compare them to yours. Notice the 500w Power Supply and the non integrated video card. Aswell as the amount of Ram.

I hate when people spaz out and buy 1000 W PSUs for an otherwise midrange system with one video card. They often buy a stuff brand too which is a big no-no since the PSU has the power to forget everything else up.

Ya... people have these phases where they do no research and just buy a computer that looks good.

but anyways
yeah
but if you plan on playing any other games on it you'd be out of luck. you're HDD is too small

... just read this..

Madmitten stop giving him advice, it's another integrated video card it wouldnt run oblivion.

ANY COMPUTER THAT IS LESS THAN 400$ WILL HAVE A INTEGRATED VIDEO CARD. OR NO VIDEO CARD AT ALL.

OBLIVION = REQUIRES A VIDEO CARD THAT ISNT INTEGRATED
