You can't put them on once they're bloated, but they are good for fishing. They bring in higher quality fish. The only tip I can give you is wear unbloated leeches and carry the bloated ones. If the ones you put on bloat, leave them until you get back.

i know leaving bloated ones in a basket back home, in a day they will unbloat to be reused.

i was planning to keep 2 cupboards full of them at the house in case.
just didnt have space to bring them back, didnt know if wearing bloated ones was harmful.

it does this every other day

Bisjac, leeches sometimes take 1 shp, but they dont fill hhp

Its a small chance that leeches heal you, gauze is better, but you need to wait till you can get sheep to make gauze.

well yeah when im settled down and skilled a little and rdy to hunt and grind sheep wool.

but till then, there is no other way to keep your health up.
there is nothing wrong with doing things the lame way instead of running to the nearest consumable item.

KIlling sheep doesnt get their wool sadly

You need to tame one or use a 4 leaf clover on it.
